Give Peace a Shot, I Dare You

So Tommy Breeze wasn't ready for The City of Angels, he acknowledges that things take time. I believe I can survive anywhere as long as I can find some peace of mind. Peace of mind is hard to find when people worry about so many superficial things. The seeds of peace are continuing to be spread all across the world, and I am sure that peace will be achieved one day, maybe even today.
Did John Lennon deserve to get shot for his shot at peace? I definitely do not think so. I refuse to die for my shot at peace, because deep down in my soul I know peace is at least my answer to happiness. It might not be yours, but it is mine, so I think we should all be able to co-exist on this beautiful planet. It is time to bury the hatchet in my opinion. After all is this not a free land? So you can hold on to your hatchet, but I will bury mine, because I believe in the beauty of nature, and time will take its course on it. So I will try to protect it as much as possible.

Life is better free, I can clearly see. Give peace a shot, I dare you.

Hello Oz

Yeah, and Tommy bulleted to California in hopes of finding a better chance of survival for the way of life he has chosen. Who knows if it is the right choice, but he has taken a leap of faith, and only time will tell if it is right or wrong. But Tom is in search of peace and love not hate and anger towards people who are not like them. I am sure Tom will do fine in the City of Angels. It might be big and scary but Thomas lost his fear somewhere along the road, so goodbye yellow brick road and hello Oz.

Metta World Peace

Google world peace. Half of the first page is devoted to  Metta World Peace aka Ron Artest that overpaid basketball player who started a riot eight years ago. But most people probably have forgotten about that by now. I’m sure he is a completely changed man, I’ve never met him so I can’t truly judge. All I know is that he is worth $23 Million, how he spends his money is none of my business. He changed his name, so I’m sure that will save his soul. However, I have never heard his ideas about World peace. And I doubt he will listen to mine. He has worked hard to repair his image, but what has he done for the image of the world? My thoughts go out to Metta World Peace and hope that tomorrow there will be peace.

146 Hopeful Words

There is not peace today but as long as there is hope, tomorrow there shall be. We cannot let another war happen, we are already fighting enough. It is time to stop fighting and let the building begin. It is harder to build than it is to break, but just imagine the goodness we can make. We are running out of things to break anyhow, we’ve already broken people’s spirits, we have torched the wildlife, put down the knife, and pick up a sign of life.   World peace should not just be the hope of a beauty queen, but it should be the hope for all the beautiful things on this earth. World peace might be impossible, it for sure is if you don’t believe in it. Call me a dreamer, but I will not let hate kill my dreams. I dream of a brighter tomorrow…

Peace or War?

                  It should not be us against them, it should be us and them. We might not like them but we have to live with them. For taking away their lives would in turn take away ours. That is why we should try to love our neighbor, because they will be there in times of crisis and in times of stimulus. They will be there in times of sorrow and in soaring times. We shall make peace because war is only the answer to more hate. We shall not try to separate from our neighbor, but rather we should build a bridge. If we do this then love will find a way in, and then we will all win.

                Hate and anger only brings us down, love will build us up. Imagine how great the world could be if together we dreamt up a brighter world rather than block out everyone else’s idea about it and let in darkness. Sometimes we can’t survive on our own ideas. Our allies should be there in those times of need. If we were all allies then maybe we wouldn’t even have times of need. Maybe we would all be freed from our enemies. Everyone doesn’t have to be our friend, but we should all try to defend what it means to be human. We should not have to defend ourself against our brothers and sisters, but rather defend ourselves against mother nature and father time.

                Maybe it should be us against them because we don’t like them and they don’t deserve to win, because we are superior to them. They shall lose this war and hopefully we won’t see them anymore. Love and peace are not the answer because it only ensures protection. Well we can defend ourself. We shall make sure nobody comes in, again they don’t deserve to win. Only we do because we’re better than them, and it will be only us in the end.

                                So shall we choose peace or war?
